Hey hey hey, It's Peter from London UK here.
I'm super happy to be here and hope I can offer value and make new lifetime friends in the SteemIt Community.
Are we called "steemers" or what?
By day, I run my own publishing and consultancy company and no doubt I'll tell you a little but more about the Games and Courses I publish and so on later.
But by night I am a music composer by heart. But it has seemed like it's almost impossible to make a living doing what you love doing, if it's music. I just read a Guardian article on what Spotify have paid out to "established" artists and it's quite depressing.
So I'm hoping that Steem (or is it SteemIt? ) may start to change all that about.
It's a great idea to have a community powered portal like SteemIt, so I'm really looking forward to it.
I've yet to read up about "markdown" so no pictures in this post ;-)
See You Then
Peter.
You can also connect up with me on FaceBook.

Or on my personal blog at

but I'm more likely to post here on Steem, especially if you send me some love ;-)
We all love being noticed and appreciated, right?
Welcome to Steemit Peter.
A couple of years ago I came across a guy on youtube called Ronald Jenkees, he has a rather large following on youtube along with many other platforms where he sells his work.
I think the trick with getting anything you do noticed and picked up on these days is to use the tools to hand, post on every forum, release on every platform and interact with your customers on a personal level and most importantly don't ever stop and eventually you'll get to where you want to be.
I'm a self taught / youtube taught, woodworker / maker... and have been making and selling my creations in my spare time for around 3 years and I am slowly but surely getting to the point where I can give up my job and do what I love to do.
Do what you love my friend!
Many Thanks @all-of-us for reaching out and commenting.
I think the bird/s who live in your hand made bird castle, will be uber happy ;-)
(why did I say man made - what else would build a bird castle? erm)
And Yep I'll see what I can do about doing what I love :-)
Actually it's a cat castle ;) and they do seem to be happy.
Ahhh! Found you, Peter! Looking forward to more posts from you. Always fascinating to take a peek into the minds of creatives - and you've got that in spades.
