#steemfair and #steempromo seems to be great initiatives. Good to see that they will work together. I think these initiatives should be balanced with handholding of new users on Steemit as well. I have just started https://steemit.com/@steemladder using which I will be educating the new joinees on the steps they need to take get themselves to know more about the platform.
Once we cross the path we quickly forget the challenges that we had faced and how we had solved them. So creating this new account is also helping me retrace my journey and I am noting down all the issues so that I can make a tutorial about how to address each of them.
I have tried to automate a couple of stuff and I keep hitting the wall because of the bandwidth issues. Once I am able to transfer more Steem Power from my personal account I should be able to reach out to more newcomers and give them the initial push. In the mean time I might need to limit reaching out smaller set until the account has sufficient Steem Power.
