I have a lot of Indian people in san diego for u to connect with! very large and wealthy indian neighborhoods here in La jolla and other north county san diego areas...I used to drive this one indian businessman from coronado to LAX for cheap...
Hey i have a question about the steemfest! ddo they pay for plane tickets for any steemit user who can go but cant afford ticket or hotel etc? like they may prodice a couch to crash on? I have a paralyzed neighbor who im getting to join steemit and a vietnam war vet whose getting older and i want him to be able to see Japan one last time to visit his martial arts masters gravesit once before he died....
Would be interesting to hold a steemit program in LA for sure!
Regarding @t-r-f It's a small pool funded by many users like me from which the steemit tokens are distributed to those who really need it based on the miles travelled and the number of users demanding from the pool. You can apply when you arrive and check-in at SF2 if you or your friend really need it. Although you could probably expect 10-20% reimbursement if there are a LOT of people flying in and demanding reimbursement.
no its all good i will be buying my own tickets and just wanted to know for minnows who just joined and wanna really find a way to network etc
just cool to tell someone "This website will pay for your plane ticket!" hah
we should have a lottery here where we raffle off an all expense paid vacaction to some over worked deserving peopel who need it , stuff like taht will get us on the local news, i heard them talking about steemit on my local am kogo radio station here in san diego a month back!
And i am gonna get on the news with my steemit ferrarii stunt handng out $1 bills and steemit singup brochures
haha! Well who knows, someone might even host such a thing later this year. :D
