Simply walking the length of this vivid street and treating your eyes to colours and designs can make a scintillating experience, that simply charges me up.

To think, "I need this!!!" Its been long time :(
I don't have such a beautiful pair of earrings for an occasion, I need to have this...particular pair of shoes. It has been so long that I have not gone for shopping. How sweetly, I convince my myself ....That you need to purchase these beautiful things, Zinkle. IMG-20171027-WA0053.jpg

Trust me. Visiting the market is recommended even if one does not plan on purchasing anything. The most iconic shopping street has something for everyone.
Junk jewelry, posters, curios, artifacts, key chains, knick-knacks and everything else which you can imagine is being retailed here.IMG-20171027-WA0054-1.jpg

Capturing the street and shopping spirit-- When on the first step of this elevated shopping street, you enter into a row of bright, colorful jewelry pieces hanging from ribbons and strings, outside a plethora of shops. I feel the collection is a replica of what one may find at a fancy store in an air-conditioned shopping mall. Other than trinkets and tiaras, goods of artistic value and dodgy antiques can be found here. IMG-20171027-WA0051.jpg

If I'm tired of walking, and need a break from shopping, I stop to refuel my energy at any one of the popular restaurants and bakeries that line this street. I do prefer the Leopold Café, for a quick bite.IMG-20171027-WA0046-1.jpg

The location is so apt. With the Taj Mahal Palace as its background, The Gateway of India just across, and the famous Leopold Cafe in the middle of shopping. Where I can recharge myself.
These jovial vibes from the cafe's, breeze through the Colaba causeway, adding to its spirit.

Colaba Causeway is a paradise for street shoppers in Mumbai.
I often feel that it stands out from other shopping hotspots as I feel it differs when it comes to the shopping experience as a whole, to the other famous spots.

For me, Colaba Causeway is a MATERIAL TREAT but is an expensive street-shopping destination. It is also low on the hippy vibe, that the Causeway offers and it has an icon IMG-20171027-WA0042-1.jpg
