Who Lives in South Florida Like Me @isteemithard and Plans to Go?

I live In South Florida and plan to go to the Steemfest 2.5 being promoted by @jerrybanfield https://steemit.com/dlive/@jerrybanfield/3a2b4d4c-1bd0-11e8-8e74-0242ac110002

I want to first start by thanking @abrockman for his contribution as onsite event manager and facilitating the location.

Location

The Kelsey Theater
700 PARK AVE.
Lake Park, FL 33403

Since I don't have anything near 5,000+ Steem power I will not be eligible for the delegation option.

"Have 5,000+ Steem power? Will you consider paying for the ticket with a delegation by delegating 5,000+ Steem power to jerrybanfield at http://jerry.tips/spdelegate because the bids my voting bot receives will cover all ticket costs and provide funds to pay for travel directly back to each of us in daily payments? Learn more about how and why delegate Steem power at https://steemit.com/steem/@jerrybanfield/65wju0wr."

Then I saw it says "Less than 5,000 Steem power? We will make tickets available soon for approximately $299 with a payment portal for credit cards and for Steem/SBD."

I thought well I am not really an investor as much as a just a user and content creator and engager. So to me the price seems a bit steep.

But then I saw it says "The more delegations we receive within the next two weeks, the lower the ticket price will be!"

So I guess I will wait a bit and hope some larger accounts will delegate so I can get a ticket for a better deal because I would really enjoy to go.

Q&A - Questions and Answers?

"Would you say that the Steem price will rise with investors visiting steemfest?"

  • Of course, any media coverage in Florida about popular topics usually gets blasted all over the nation. Cryptocurrency is one of the most popular topics of the times. The possibility of celebrity appearances and performances could catapult the platform.

"Who do you anticipate showing up to steemfest 2.5?"

"Will we make a trip to Disney World which is two hours north?"

  • They may and if they do so too may I follow!

"How can newbies to Steem benefit?"

"Going to an event like this as a newbie is the best opportunity to make connections with people that might be difficult to reach online. We will have top witnesses, investors, authors, and curators at Steemfest 2.5 with many new collaborations possible from networking in person that would be unlikely to happen just messaging online."

  • This sounds like one of the main reasons I would like to attend.

"YOU should really try to knock the cost down for the community. This event seems to benefit the high ballers and not really US minnows ... For me to hit 5000 steem would be 2 years. Not all of us have the social following like you with 100's of thousands on other platforms. Now we need to delegate to you? This event seems a bit off... As much as I'd like to attend it doesn't feel slated to ASSIST AND HELP THE COMMUNITY..."

  • I understand the value of having to pay for something that is worth it. I also get that when it's Free some may think it's Too Good To Be True. But I vote that @ned with @misterdelegation graciously provides a delegation that is enough to cover the entire event and make it free without it costing anyone anything including himself.
