RE: Dear Steemfest Attendees... You Can Count on this Seattle Girl to Scope Out All the Good Coffee Shops in Krakow

Maybe next year. I wrote a joke about why I can't make it this year. In reality, I have a lot of things to take care of on this end before I'll ever be able to get out and go exploring again.

hahah oh man that was such an enjoyable read. So well written! Sad you won't be attending - but I get it. It's a super long way and you've got a damn truck to fix now. lol

I really do hope Steemfest is on our side of the world next year. I see you are in Canada! I'm actually a dual citizen and have family in BC, Calgary, Regina and Ottawa. Kinda spread out! haha

I haven't been to Europe so if go, a convention would only be a small part of the trip. I'd want to be there for a few months just doing whatever.

Yeah, Canadian. Grew up in Saskatchewan, lived in Alberta for awhile, back in Saskatchewan for the time being.

I totally hear you. I am going to Europe for 10 days and it feels way too short. I'll be back sometime though for a longer stretch to just wander and explore.

It's been ages since i've been to Saskatchewan, even though I have cousins out there. Beautiful area from what I remember... I went in the summer's though. I don't know how well i'd fare your winters! Light dustings of snow and ice are about all we get where I live. haha

I was already sick of winter during the first week of fall here; but that blizzard melted. Soon it'll be -40 and I become jealous of animals that get to hibernate. It's a nice place in summer. Some areas are so flat and wide open one can watch their dog run away for three days.

brrrrrr... I just got cold thinking about -40. lol
