I jokingly commented on @abh12345's post that I was profiling all passengers on my flight to see who also might be Steemians, but somehow I still didn't expect I would recognize two Steemians, namely @exyle and @bkdbkd :-) Saying 'hi' to the first SteemFest attendees!
I got out of the plane on my way to meet the chauffeur that my AirBnB host arranged for me. But wait, what did I see? The lovely smiling face of @katrina-ariel! She waited for me even after traveling for about 24 hours, so we could finally exchange that hug that we both had wanted to give each other for a while now :D That made me pretty happy and I felt that moment alone was worth coming to Kraków for.

Off to the Qubus then! I had my first 'scan fest' moment where a group of Steemians were sitting in a circle, I arrived, we exchanged names, and they all took out their phones to do a username exchange through the SteemFest app. It was the start of some good chats while eating a Vegan Kebab that @nathanmars new to find. The place only had 8 chairs so we pretty much filled the place all the way up, @stoodkev, @rivalzzz, @louis88, @illucifer, @demotruk, @chickencaam and @flauwy - all super cool people and I wish I had the time to tell more about them!
Drinks then? We started with only four of us, @illucifer, @flauwy and @stoodkev, but more and more and more people appeared, scanning usernames and chatting away - @cryptoctopus, @unique.esprit, and after hearing some Dutch (@evecab and I will never know if I really heard her speak Dutch or just imagined it...) I got to meet the lovely @evecab and her awesome husband @el-cr! Cool 3D printed stuff with the Steem logo came in through @felix.herrmann. Then @anomadsoul arrived, and it all went south, lol, going to another bar and later even a strip club, but well, all is okay if you get to meet even more awesome people, like, @coruscate, @steemmatt who against all odds made it to Kraków (I flipped one wing, he flipped the other!), @zlatan-spielberg, @roxane, @abh12345, @raj808, and so many more people I will probably still forget names or have missed out on meeting people because it all already was pretty overwhelming.
Plans for today? Meeting more Steemians. Plans for tomorrow? Meeting more Steemians. I will probably not be able to update about all of it, but today I was able to write these few sentences, so please go ahead and follow a few people in these post, because they are all awesome peoples and I feel blessed I'm here in Kraków, the epicentre of Steem love.
