Here we are guys! SteemFest finally kicks off at Amsterdam with Roeland and Ned taking the stage!
It's incredible to see the enthusiasm and optimism amongst everyone here! We're at the Tobacco Theater now after an incredible boat ride!

Going forward Steemit's mission is to improve communication, documentation and build a strong community! It's an exciting phase in the timeline of Steemit.
It's about 11 AM and we've got Heidi taking the stage to talk about her travels across the world. It's incredible how Steemit has enabled her to traverse across the globe!
She plans on reaching out to more people and get the word out on cryptocurrency and how bitcoin can help people!

It's 11.30 AM and Neil Strauss is on the stage talking about the goal of writing and how to engage with your audience when you write.
Using 'Freedom' app to help you increase your productivity is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Focus Bar is another great tool for budding writers that he recommends.
If you love writing don't forget to jot down your ideas when you have them and that's one of the best things you can do to improve your writing.
It's noon and we're going steady with our talks at SteemFest.

It's 2PM and we've just wrapped up with Witness Panel and @sneak just finished his talk. We're about half way done with our Day 1 of SteemFest and everyone is upbeat and enjoying the whole experience!
It's 2PM and Curie takes stage with @andrarchy introducing the Project and @kevinwong.
Kevin takes to stage and talks about how the Project has expanded the cognitive power of the whales! Curie together with @steemcleaners intiative has made an immense difference to the Steemit social platform.

So @allasyummyfood came along to make us some delicious Truffles and after watching her videos and recipes for ages it felt great to get a chance to eat one of her delicacies!
She also spoke about how Steemit is helping her earn a reasonable income from blogging compared to YouTube.
