Heineken in Poland? Sacrilege! Especially since he was drinking coffee with a Zywiec sign behind him - I'll take that over Heineken any day, and I like Heineken.
My favorite is Warka Strong, but really, there are so many great Polish beers from which to choose. Great stuff!
Never had any polish beer, did have Osjusko (Croatia). But when ever I am in a foreign country I try the local beers instead of the named brands like Heineken... But in Holland I do drink Heineken every now and then :)
Yeah, I like Heineken and Grolsch both, but some of the Polish beers are really excellent.
And if you're ever in the mood for something stronger, Zubrowka is Polish bison grass vodka, and it's my favorite sipping vodka hands down.
You can get it here in the States, but the Zubrowka that's not for export is the real deal, and far superior. Seriously delicious.
