As the Steemfiles software written for new APIs goes through development, bugs are found and fixed while the APIs evolve. Unfortunately these bug fixes and APIs go together. In order to fix things, I had to break things. This is not particular to python-steem, but just part of development on libraries that have not frozen their APIs. On Steemfiles. The download progress bar is not showing up. Downloads are working however.
I will focus on these bugs rather than new features. Once finished I think I will get this working in multiple languages. Some files should be tagged to languages. Books that are not all picture books, for example. Instrumentals should not. I am aiming to get this working this week.
I think the Steemit community should know that I am committed to squashing all of the bugs.
I wish my backend was upgraded!
