What if #Steemgigs can disrupt something besides Fiverr?
I am actually talking about eBay!
Hi Terry (@Surpassinggoogle)! Is this idea possible or doable?

For readers who are not familiar with Steemgigs, it is the brainchild of Terry (aka Surpassinggoogle).
One of its primary concept is to connect potential clients and freelancers within the Steemit community.
Naturally, this makes a lot of sense since we have a strong and solid community.
The idea is to bank on trust among members (and of course, their reputation and standing in the community).
For instance, if a member is looking for an article writer for his or her own personal blog, instead of looking at different (outside) freelancing sites such as onespace or fiverr, that client may post the job within Steemit. Interested freelancing members may then apply for the project. From there, the project specifics may and will depend on both the communication and agreement of both members.
Anyway, I am asking Terry's inputs since Steemgigs is his brainchild. Also, aside from Terry, I am unsure who are the people / team directly involved or indirectly influences the Steemgig factors / rules.
So how about it Awesome Terry? Is the idea plausible?
I haven't panned it out the entirely but the gist is:
- Members can post their "For Sale" stuffs in the community as other members may have an interest on it
- Similar to the core of Steemgigs – trust and reputation is a key component for the transaction to push through
- Payment procedure will follow the existing one used by Steemgigs
- Other transaction aspect like delivery method will depend on the agreement and communication of both seller and buyer
That's it for now. I hope you noticed this post because if approved, I might stop using eBay 😇

Brilliant idea @coolector ;)
thanks @bloghound but I have to re-evaluate as the entire Steemgigs approach seems to be still ironed out
Bobo ako sa mga bagay na to 😂
@pinay wahaha oks lang yan. hindi ka nag iisa. marami tayo :D
What do you think of it Terry @surpassinggoogle? Seems like a good idea for me.
Thanks @enJIEneer but i think i'll stick with eBay XD
Unfortunately, #steemgigs can't even disrupt fiverr the way it's being spammed and abused. I'm searching through the feed, and can only find a couple posts that actually belong on the tag, hidden under piles and piles of posts by people who clearly have no understanding of what the tag is, and only use it to try and get upvotes...
yikes. that's a bummer. And here I'm thinking that I'll leave eBay behind 😅
oh well, I hope they iron out how to properly utilize #steemgigs
The details have been ironed out for a while, it's just hard to control people who use the tag, and it's just being spammed to death
