I will start with one simple task. I will also tell you how to earn more by contributing to open source project. the task I am thinking of to start with is like to render preview, I am not sure if that is called server side rendering. but something that enables, steemgigs permalinks to display a preview when you share these links on social media. maybe I will write a small task request. but I want to know if you have an idea about this. you can see steemgigs on github. https://github.com/steemgigs
Hi @surpassinggoogle, I reviewed the issue in github and.. as you said, you need a server side render to do all about of SEO optimizations. Then we can add tittle and metadata change to each route, metadata for open graph protocol (ogp.me) and twitter card (developer.twitter.com) when the user share any article, whith this we can show an image, a description, a title and a link in facebook, linkedin, twitter, instagram etc.
To show metadata in search engine like google or yahoo, you need to add structure data metadata (schema.org). To do this we need review documentation of google, bing and yahoo but we can add it in progressive way. I am going to run the application in my computer and I will review the code to know how many time and how much it cost if you want. Do you have any email to send you this information?
