Although I don't fully grasp the work of steem power and powering up or down or selling these things, I still get that you're saying we should take our work here serious.
Then another thing, can you explain to me the value and use of steem power. I know its valuable but I'd like to know how valuable and what I can do with it.

Let me put it like this, the influence/weight your upvote contributes to a post by an author. the community is driven by steem, so when we make post on the community, we are creating blocks on the steem blockchain (i will call that mining. if only you unerstand) , the more we post the more blocks we create, and this generates steem to power up the community. our reward for this is the steem power which is given back to us to continue our good works. You can earn steem by hardwork and also you can choose to buy steem if you are buoyant .
