Happy Birthday to the Genius Behind Steemgigs

I couldn't give any physical gift item to our dear inspiration and the main genius behind the idea of steemgigs, @surpassinggoogle. So instead, I created a gift for him and for #steemgigs - a hand lettering!

I messed up with my first attempt as I only had written the draft as steemgig and I don't have any more space to add the letter s. Flaws are accepted but not for this one because it would be a different story.

I had to do it again, wrote #steemgigs in the draft, as below. But first, the materials used are the following:

^{Faber Castell pencil}

^{Kuretake ZIG Brush pen in light violet shade}

^{Tokyo Finds watercolor brush pen in yellow.}

As usual, I am using my Faber Castel pencil here. I have a kneaded eraser as well for erasing draft tracing the edge lines of the letters.

Then here, I start to fill the letters using my Kuretake ZIG Art & Graphic Twin in the light violet shade. This was very easy because the brush pen has a tip and a broader body.

Adding a yellow shadow for me was a bit off but I had to continue instead since I have already started it. I just realized afterward that the word now looked like themed after the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team!

That's it and I have now changed my footer image to this lettering instead of the previous snow lettering.
