So I just finished watching watching Avengers: Infinity War in IMAX and it was amazing! The action just kept popping out and was a roller coaster ride of emotions as you were rooting one time for the superheroes and having that moment of empathizing with the Mad Titan, Thanos (Don't Judge me hahaa!)

Hello sir Mavs, here's my comment about your contest, thanks for initiating this geek contest...
I'm a fan of the Marvel universe. I haven't had the chance to see the movie Black Panther, but I have seen all the other films of the Marvelverse. And last Friday night, I was lucky to watch the latest Avengers "Infinity War"... And this could be my favorite Marvel movie.
About the first 2 Avengers movies had already impressed me strongly with the union of superheroes. It was level up with the arrival of the team of Spiderman, Dr. Strange and especially Guardians of the Galaxy! I also enjoyed finding some second roles specific to each superhero.
In the new Avengers, they were very quickly put in the heat of the action. There is no timeout, action to spare, it moves from one team to another, from one place to another. The quest for the stones of infinity is good rhythm despite some differences with the real story in the comics.
I love the Marvel universe because there is also a lot of humor, unlike DC Comics movies. There were still a lot of funny replicas but it changed at the end. The end of the film reveals a very dark future for our heroes, but also for the whole people of the universe. DC comic most of the time they made it darker and less humor compare to Marvel in my own opinion. But I still like DC too.
While watching this movie, we knew it and we were warned about the next story. Based on the internet, the story requires two films and it will happen until next year. It was expected that the movie is hard and a monumental slap. So let's wait for the next movie!

I am actually a DC fan but have to agree that the DCEU films needs to be fixed. Aside from the The Dark Knight Trilogy and Wonderwoman I never liked the rest. I am not feeling Batfleck as well.

I am not actually an avid fan but because of my children I am forced to watch them. They are a big fan of the avengers. During my younger days the only marvel I know is the X-men and now there are many characters and their stories and existence is not that clear to me. I have watch many of their movies and I'm so surprised that I am actually enjoying it like the way my kids does. So, since the first Avenger I became a fan.
Among all the characters I've met in their movies my favorite character is Iron man because he is a self made hero. Tony Starks is a genius and a man who stands for what is right. Although at first he is not concern about the welfare of human race. He uses his talent in creating bombs and sell it to get rich and just like any other man he is working for his own benefits. Until he discover his father's work and realized his mistakes in the past. He turned into a novel and advocate of peace. If only people can see how a man change for the better they will also realized that its better most of the time to think not only for our own good but for the betterment of many, we will have a wonderful nation. Maybe if bad guys will change and starts changing their wrong doings we will never be afraid for the welfare of our next generation. If we can only see the essence of our existence we won't be doing anything wrong against other people.
Many people think that allowing children to watch this kind of movies will only lead them to become addicted to war or be violent, in my case I see it in a different way. Because I think allowing them to watch alone without us (parents) explaining to them why this heroes are fighting and what they are fighting for, the child will surely get negative thoughts. That's is why in my opinion we should not allow our children to watch alone.

Great comment! Tony Stark and RDJ is a tough act to follow as in your minds eye he really has become Iron Man in the same way that Logan will always be Hugh Jackman in my eyes.

You should watch it in 3D it is amazing!!!!!
I will try 3D but I could watch it in anything basically. To see Thanos flex the infinite gauntlet in his hands and watch him bend masters of their specific gifts, gods and scientific marvels to their knees, then watching them strive back despite their failings, weaknesses, humanity, to overcome this person who wields godlike powers but is just a tired warrior. Is that not beautiful and true about life? Oh anything will suffice.

I have yet to see Infinity War, so with that in mind, I think my favorite MCU movie so far is Captain America: Civil War.
The first Iron Man, the first Avengers, the first Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America: Winter Soldier are up there, though.
The reason for giving the nod to Civil War is all of the different individual character development going on (how they all arrive at their own decisions, and how they all tie into the significance of the story and the overarching story of the MCU. There was a lot at stake here, more so than any other movie because it would be the one to divide the heroes.
I thought the showing of the Starks' car crash three different times was brilliant story telling. I thought Tony Stark's not trusting the Avengers to make decisions was more of reflection of his own personal mistrust, and bouncing between being on the opposite side of Captain America, then with him, then against him followed exactly what that character would really do.
The airport fight scene was good, especially with Spider-man and Ant Man to liven things up, and with the added consequence of Iron Patriot (War Machine) going down under friendly fire.
The team up of the Russo Brothers and the writers on both the second and third Captain America movies I hope bodes well for Infinity War.

In the comics I love Civil War and all the arcs and accompanying storylines .
I agree on this and was a masterful stroke in story telling for me. MCU really is on point with how they portray their stories.
I just watched it again and I'd forgotten about all of the fight scenes where it's Captain America and some of the less powered folks like Black Widow and just how intense those fight scenes are. When you get the Hulk, or Iron Man and Thor going, you're talking about massive haymakers that send opponents flying for yards if not kilometers. Somehow, when those punches are reigned in more, even though still fantastically impossible, they just seem real. And they hurt more. :)
Civil War was basically an Avengers movie from mainly Captain America's point of view. And I agree. The MCU has no competition from any genre really when it comes to building a cinematic universe with different characters with their own movies. The DCCU is way behind. However, that might end up being an advantage if they can get it rolling as Marvel is on the wane. At least, I don't think Marvel can keep up the pace forever, even backed by Disney. At some point, it all comes to an end.
I say that when there's already 19 movies, No. 20 before the summer is out, and then three more on the way next year as they move into another phase with even lesser known characters. I wonder what they'll do with the Fox controlled characters (X-men, Fantastic Four) and how soon they'll be able to bring them into the fold? It's been great having Spider-Man at least on loan. Major improvement over all of the Sony produced movies, except for maybe the first two.

As for my favorite MCU film, I still havent seen Infinity war (sad, I know!) but i'd say the first Iron Man film still holds it for me. I'm not really crazy for watching trailers and reading full reviews before I see a film. So when I watched it way back in the cinema (2008 I think?) I was not expecting much. My bar was set on low as Ive seen plenty of superhero movies back then that was not so good (save for batman begins, man that film triggered the superhero film evolution). But I was really blown away! The plot, the action, Downey's acting.. Whoa! It was perfection! Seeing Tony forging the first ever suit in a desert cave full of terrorist and how he got out of there gave me goosebumps (im actually feeling it it even now while I type this just by reminiscing that scene). It was just too cool! Then they all finish the movie with the first ever appearance of Nick Fury.. And you already know where that is going!
Well that's how I feel.
But "The Dark Knight" is still the number one superhero movie for me. But that's another story! (Ye fellow Batfan!)

Completely agree on this!! It is by far one of my favorite. TBH I was looking forward to a Dark Knight Returns (comic book storyline) that would leave me nerdgasmic instead we got "Martha!!!!"

Bats was trying to kill Supes in the first film and the next one he was all mad scientist mode to revive him.
It all seemed forced. The latter feels like its out of character for Batman. Too rash, Bruce!
Reviving Supes is a bad plan. (remember the bad dream scene where Flash warned Bruce?)

Good evening, Avenger Fans!!! I think I am one of them, I just love all the marvel movies and also the marvel superheroes who have powers or special ability in a way that they help who are in trouble. They are our idols and sometimes we like to collect t-shirts, accessories, toys and even posters of them. Among them all the closest/my favorite superhero in my heart is "Captain America", why?
Captain America is bullied before he becomes a captain america, it is because he is thin and weak enough to defend himself against his enemy. Until he transform into a stiff and buff man who is strong and now can defend himself against the viland of the society. As I reflect my life in Captain America it is somehow familiar in a way that I am a victim of bully, cause I don't defend myself to any embarrasing words and sometimes physical contact like punching my back hardly . I am too weak cause I don't defend and protect myself I just cry. As I talk to a friend of mine that she advice me that don't tolerate someone to underestimate you, just speak out in a correct manner telling them that you have no rights to hurt and if they don't stop tell authorities person to help you and tell them that they are doing bad. After she said that I feel like transforming into Captain America who is strong in all walks of life, and can defend against the viland of my life.. I just pray that someday the people who bullied me realize that it is not good to be bad to others. That is why I love Captain America, who is my inspiration to be good to others even if they are my enemy. Can wait to see Avengers: The Infinity Wars. We can be superheroes in our on little ways, in everday of our life. Long live superheroes!!!!
I think a lot of people had thought that the contest was about their favorite marvel superhero but the contest is about the movie although thinking about it the hero ties in the movie especiallyif it is their origin story.
I like how you were able to place yourself in the shoes of the pre-Captain America Steve Rogers who was bullied.
I feel for you and I have counseled people who have bullied and sometimes we either need to fight back or walk away from the negativity.
I hope that you will realize that you are important as well and no one should step on you.

My Favorite MARVEL Superhero is VISION because of his ability to process information and make calculations with superhuman speed and accuracy and I want to have power just like him, so I can use it in my profession since I am a BS math graduate.
But after the first day of the showing of the movie Avengers : Infinity War, a lot of flying VISION from people who already watch the movie and in that time for the first time I HATE VISION hahaha . why do you need to spread your VISION on the movie?
It makes me don't want to watch the movie because I have heard in advance that Vision my idol died!! But still I decided to watch the movie and went to Cinema. And there, I just feel blue because Vision died.
I love VISION but there is this vision I hate, the advance VISION!!

So far my favorite Marvel Superhero Movie is “ Iron Man” ... I just love the main character Tony Stark. Action, thriller, comedy and even romance are all in this movie. I love him teasing Ms. Pepper Potts.. lol.. The story makes me wonder if it is possible for us humans to make this kind of Armor Suit. It also amaze me to see the upgrade of Iron Man’s armor suits from Mark I to Mark XLIII, the arc reactor, the weaponries, guns, missiles, etc. The best scene that i love is in Iron Man 2 the Monacco Grand Prix scene where Ivan Vanko (Whiplash) appeared and try to kill Tony Stark. He made a weapon powered by his self-made reactor, whiplash that cuts easily through many things even the iron man suit was triggered. I just love Iron Man and his character. Being arrogant, genius, funny and hilarious. I remember in The Avengers 1 scene the argument between him and Captain America. lol.. i just just really love this scene.haha

My favorite Marvel Superhero movie is , "the Amazing Spideman". I love the sequence and the highlights of the movie. Aside from that I love the way how he helped his community by doing such great things. Spiderman really impressed me a lot.
Spiderman is a very swift Super Hero. He can move so quickly from one place to another using his Web-slinging ability which no other normal human can do(in my dreams, I want to be like him, I want to save my own MJ also hahah)lol. When people are threatened by wicked people Spiderman rescues them at the right time. However strong the villains may be, Spiderman never stopped doing the right act. Spiderman risked all his powers and strength to stand by the side of good people.
Just like him, I want to help and rescue people who are in needs. His powers and deeds are so captivating that he always inspires me to help people, do good to others and stand against evil doers.
"With a great power comes, great responsiblity". He chose the majority morethan himself and his happiness "MJ". Just like me as a teacher, I have to asure the learning of my students morethan anything. I have to ensure that I need to give and share what is good for them. Because I really believe, someday my students will become a SPIDERMAN in their own ways. Thinking of things that good for their community.
And I am also proud to my profession, because I know with a proper guidance, I believe someday in the prescence of my students, I can produce not only SPIDERMAN but also BATMAN, SUPERMAN, HULK, IRONMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA even Captain Barbell and Darna. Because in my profession i know this is a great responsibility. And I take this responsibilty with a strong faith and fire in my heart. "WITH A GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY"
Oh yeah the Amazing Spiderman is indeed a crowd pleaser and his speed and wit are so amazing to watch.
This is true for most superheroes having the moral code to do what is right no matter the odds.

I may sound like I am the antagonist here but I feel like I kinda feel the part when Thanos showed his soft side before he got the soul gem. And we all know the price he did pay. But yeah, he means business and he needs to really seek for the balance of the greater good. These powerful creatures can surely change towards the worst of all beings and the worst mutants and villains can turn to heroes. Therefore his judgement is needed. To wipe out half of the living creatures. I cannot blame Dr. Strange, he just never opposed the will of the force. (Omg - star wars)

I would have to say Dead Pool would be my favorite movie from Marvel. Trust me, I am as surprised as you are lol. As I was thinking about all the movies I realized that I like them all but usually don't feel the need to see it more than once. I have seen DP multiple times and it keeps me entertained throught the entire thing. I think its because I love the back story of the character and Ryan Reynolds really makes nails that role. It's not only really funny but it also is a love story so my fiance enjoys it! That is rare when it comes to comic book movies so I will take it as a win. LoL
My favirute comic hero is Bardagol of the planet of the apes. I also love Zuma of the Aliwan komics.
