Hey, Steemians!

As some of you may know, @thedailysteemit is a brand new online news Epaper all about steemit! If you hadn't heard, you have now, and @steemitqa just released our First Publication!

Our second edition will be published on or around July 19th, and we're looking for talented writers who would be interested in contributing an article or two.

We are looking for guest writers for the following topics:

  • Sports - 3 Spots Open
  • SteemIt News - FILLED
  • Entertainment - 1 out of 2 Spots Open
  • Dear Steemit – Open
  • Politics - Open
  • Tech News - Open
  • Opinion - Open

Payment for each section will be 10 SBD, and they will need to be completed no later than July 15th, so @steemitqa has time to edit everything together. Comment below if you are interested, and get in touch with myself or @steemitqa on steemit.chat, send us your email address, and we can invite you to our group Slack chat.

Quick Questions Regarding (for all those who may also be wondering):

  1. What exactly is the subject matter for the "Dear Steemit" category?

  2. For the "Opinion" category, does this mean opinions on anything related to Steemit that the writer feels like pontificating about?

Thanks in advance for any info in response...

@steemitqa may be able to provide the best answer. Got a description for them? I'll be sure to update this post, and include descriptions in future gigs

That's exactly what I'm also interested in.

@thatsweeneyguy can anyone submit article(s) that is already written and published in their profiles?

Because many of us are still growing and most of the time our post views is less than 10 in total, so in a way those articles are pretty fresh and unseen, just lack the appreciation maybe because the user doesn't know who to market themselves in steemit.

Also, many of the steemit user's first language is not English, so they might need some sort of grammatical corrections. Are there editors in The Daily Steemit who will polish the guest writer's article to make it more professional and appealing to the viewers?

Unfortunately, no. These articles will be published in @thedailysteemit, but you will be given credit as the author.

@steemitqa is our main editor, but I think he's mostly just compiling everything that gets written. There are however plenty of steemians who offer english proofreading #steemgigs, and would be happy to edit your submissions

Hi @shadmannn email me at [email protected] and I can answer some of your questions. Thanks!

I am intrigued by this, and I would like to participate. My preference would be politics or entertainment.

I am free this week and can write ^_^
Opinion I am interested in. I will email.

I may be interested in the Tech News category. I'm also going to be doing Monday Night Minnow School - a show on the soon to be launched MSP Waves Radio network - a production of the Minnow Support Project. I'd like to maybe try and work in writing for you in the Tech column in conjunction with that... [email protected]

I'll write to your email. Thanks!

Roger that. I'll keep an eye open.
