And isn’t technology awesome? Old timers like me who can actually surf (both with and without sail) look now like idiots because we can’t surf on lakes without wind or waves. :/

It’s mental. I mean... it’s a mind thing.

Swimming itself is rather easy, so when you want to learn it it goes fast. There’s nothing to be scared of. Everyone can peddle.

And if you think you can only swim when you know you can touch the bottom... then you can swim anywhere. Because the floor being deeper doesn’t make it different an action.
