Smartphone are getting more and more powerful, I"m almost considering to do all of our vlogging recording with a phone because it's just so much more convenient to use a device you always have with you instead of lugging around an entire camera just in case you want to record something.
BUT the sound! Most of the phones do great image quality wise but the the sounds leaves very often room for improvement.
The iQ7 comes with two mircophones allowing you to record sounds coming in from many directions. Those high definition files you can then edit with Zoom's Zoom's Handy Recorder app.
The difference between the build in micro and the add on one is huge. See for yourself below:
