Lightsail is tiny CubeSat that uses the unlimited solar energy for propulsion!! It is a citizen-funded project that aims to help low-cost projects such as university projects for students education!!
Thanks to small size, don't have to carry heavy fuel tank something that enables continues acceleration!!
They have already lunch the lightsail 1 back to 2015, and now they are ready to lunch a second, the lightsail 2 will be attached to SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket!!

This looks amazing. The technology that is coming from the private sector and businesses like SpaceX is remarkable. I think we could see colonization of Mars within a decade due to the fantastic work of companies like this. Solid hunt

You need to see how happy i am seeing that we have a light sail in place. Going to such place has always required a lot of money but right now the cos is now saved. Great hunt
Sending a space craft in space incurs a huge cost it way in Millions rather would cross Billions as well. Thanks to the great innovation from planetary.org with LightSail which is Solar Sailing Spacecraft Millions of dollars can be saved and the saved amount can be used for other research activities. When you see Bill Nye doing the video you have hit 90's nostalgia, glad to see a working solar sail. Lightsail 1 and 2 and hopefully more to come and maybe one day we can do suborbital travel too or have a bunch of sails to power a sub-orbital hub and gyro station.
Aero space research is considered the most expensive research in the world due to all mechanism. But, this is an appreciable idea that now aero-spacing is quite affordable with the help of LightSail.

Very Interesting! Solar Sailing Spacecraft, I wonder what is its purpose while roving around the cosmos. Students form universities can benefit from this but I wonder what are the things it do around the cosmos. Overall it was very indeed surprising. I will give this hunt a score of 5 out of 5.

Well, I can def. see this being used now or in the future with more space travel and exploration. The idea of it all seems pretty simple but creating t must have been complex? I wonder when someone will make a solar shirt that charges all ones tech. while wearing it?

This is an exciting development for space travel and exploration. If harnessing the momentum in sunlight for propulsion can be a possible means for space travel, then we might have just made space travel sustainable, too. That's so cool.
