The MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed are circumaural headphones that incorporate one of the latest magnetic planar technologies (V-Planar and TrueFlow), and comes to the market as a more economical and compact option for your older brother.
One of the latest creations of the well-known and awarded American brand of headphones MrSpeakers, located in San Diego (California), are the MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed, and there is also another variant called "Open" and as its nickname indicates it's about the open version of the Aeon Flow. But in this case we are going to talk about this first, the closed version.
This is the first time that I have a headset from the MrSpeakers house, and now I have the opportunity to enjoy it and share my impressions with all the readers of auricular.org thanks to our friends from Headphoniaks who have kindly lent me this unit for your review.

On a sober box of cardboard, but with subtle elegance when presented totally in black and with the logo in the center, we will find inside the just but indispensable with our MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed.

The case is rigid, elegant, with a very good finish and appearance. With a fairly ergonomic shape will accommodate and protect against any fatality to our MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed and its cable, facilitating the transfer either in the hand, backpack, bag or suitcase without taking up too much space.
The DUMMER cable supplied is of very good quality. Handy, without memory, with apparent resistance and lined in fabric to provide a more pleasant and free of miking. The connectors to the cups are 4 pin, and they adjust by exerting a little pressure when connecting them, being trapped by a system that avoids accidental exits by pulls. The connector is 3.5 mm but a 6.3 mm adapter is attached.
Within this price range, we miss the inclusion of a second balanced type cable.
The MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed are very light on the hands and even more feel on our head. The setting is simple and very pleasant. They provide very good ergonomics and both the pads and the leather band contribute to this effect that provides great comfort. Despite its compact appearance, the ears have enough room inside the cups and pads to accommodate and not touch any part of the headset. No doubt we can be as many hours as we want with them placed without having the slightest discomfort.
The band is finished in tinted leather and embossed with the MrSpeakers brand on it. By supporting it on our head we see how the weight is very well distributed.
The leather pads are soft and do not provide much heat compared to other headphones that I have or have tried, and the padding gives another point more in favor of outstanding comfort.
The glasses seem to be made of some very resistant plastic material or resin, with a bright navy blue finish and some lids highlighted with a modern design imitating a carbon finish.
The MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed is a fairly flat and balanced headset, with the lowest frequencies slightly marked. It has a very natural and warm tone. They are fast, powerful, decisive and with a great recovery of details.
The highs are soft, clear and clean. They have a good amount of shine and extension and their highs are never aggressive. The details are extremely clear, and have very good resolution, showing each note and sound with great precision. It has one of the best treble I could hear in a headset in general.
The media is warm, but very clean and detailed. Transparency is superb. His presentation is somewhat intimate. The voices are very natural, clear, full-bodied and full of nuances and texture. A delight
The low area is also presented in a slightly balanced, with all its consequences, and I come from closed headphones such as the Soundmagic HP150, Beyerdynamic DT770, Fostex TH-X00 ... in this section I have lacked the impact of bass that I They provide these other closed headphones mentioned. Although this, as is logical, is a more than personal appreciation of different profiles.
The bass have good fall, details and texture. They are tight and with a marked impact, but never dominant even when it is required with more powerful musical styles say or cane, resulting in its final presentation quite neutral. The subwoofer is blunt and well defined, but neither will .El scenario of the MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed is surprising as it is a closed headset. It feels reasonably spacious, with a lot of air and separation between the instruments, all contributing to an exceptional image. In many moments I have come to forget that what I was hearing was a closed headset, if not for the extraordinary isolation it also provides, making them ideal for listening in the office without disturbing anyone or even on our trips. it was very pleasant and surprising for me to be able to try the MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed, an earphone that treasures a great sound quality, and honestly for being a closed type headset it seems almost more an open earphone. It also emphasizes its comfort and beautiful compact design, Not portable, but making them ideal for the office or to travel with them. Even those who dare can take them out to the street to continue enjoying an exceptional sound reserved for the most demanding palates. Under my opinion and criteria, I think that at this time and until I try something better (maybe his older brother) for me is the best and most complete closed headset that can be found right now in the market. It has left me with such a good taste in my mouth that I am already looking forward to trying out its "Open" version and see what this other variant of the magnificent Aeon Flow can offer us. But of course, anyone looking for a closed type headset that is complete and easily transportable, will not find a better ally than the MrSpeakers Aeon Flow Closed.
