Thanks for yet another hunt. I’ve reviewed and approved it. The hunt is on.
I do have a request though for future hunts: can you please refrain from italicizing everything. Italics have a semantic meaning (emphasisis) and the site’s typography is designed by an actual design.
It defeats the purpose of actually having a designer if everyone uses HTML non-semantically. There is a reason why sites like Facebook and Twitter do not have those features. Thanks for your understanding.
Thank you @fknmayhem! My bad, i was doing that because it looked nice to me... Didn't really know i was doing a mistake. Will stop doing that.
Not a problem. But did you know that italic (semantically ‘emphasis’) is read in a different voice by screen readers used by people with visual impairments? Same with ‘headings’ (titles and sub-titles), subtitles can be used to jump to the title - sort of an index - with such software.
Accessibility is why it matters. And, of course, also to respect the work of the designer. ;)
