This is an interesting software that turns 2D photos into a 3D scenes/objects. IMVERSE LiveMaker is currently at public beta stage. Software tiered versions: Lite, Creator, and Pro.
Lite version costs $29 and is a one time purchase, however, Creator and Pro versions are monthly subscriptions of $125 and $250 respectively.
It is an expensive software. But they are promising might be worth the price. They are marketing it as a photoshop for virtual and mixed reality content with powerful tools. This can be a useful tool for VR content developers, designers, and gaming development companies.
Lite version, although with less features, seems to be at a reasonable price for average users. Users can easily transform their standard 2D pictures or illustrations into 3D content. It has photoshop-like tools to further improve and enhance details of the 3D content.
Imverse's vision is to allow anyone without technical skills or big budgets create VR, AR and MR content.
