When blockchain meets art, transparency will emerge, third parties that often harm artists will be lost and reduced, because now artists can sell their own works.
R.A.R.E is a place where artists and collectors gather. Digital art now has digital print stored on the blockchain, so artists and makers can have full control of their digital artwork. You will get ART tokens too.

Reminds me of Poet which I Hunted few months ago. This is solving a real problem for content creators. Thanks to the nature of the internet many works go don't get paid and stopping what is distributed over he internet is difficult. The worst part is keeping track of what is happening and blockchain solutions takes care of at in a trustless manner.
Isn't poet just a time stamp blockchain? Rare seems to offer the timestamp but is also a fully operating market place and curating platform. Hopefully steem doesn't lose all of our artists to Rare!
Great way to encourage artists (poets, writers, digital artists...) with the use of the blockchain technology. They can share/sell their works in a confident way.
We should thank the Blockchain for solving many problems and encourage more artist to create awesome work.
Totally agree with you. There is a lot of work that gets' unnoticed on the internet. And if we have similar kind of products coming up we would see a lot of engagement and most importantly benefiting the masses around with their creativity. Cheers.

This quite lovely and a good one for artists. I have a lot of graphic artists on the steem blockchain and come to appreciate the creativity of artworks. They deserve to get maximum reward for their creativities.
They deserve more than usual, the more they earn the more art will be made.

am a lover of art and I love anything creativity. This is one project i will Love to fully support. If not for the recent drop in crypto market, Etherum blockchain has Proven beyond reasonable doubt that it is here To open A new chapter of Crypto Earning. Look at this phase were Artist can Now get their work protected and at same time earn from it. This is indeed lovely and powerful/welcomed.
Indeed, this will broaden our insight into how the blockchain will be a solution.
As an creative/artist, this is something I will definitely be looking into further.
I would obviously prefer this solution to be on the Steem blockchain, and can't think of another Steem dApp doing the same (roll on SMTs), but I'm sure there'll be one in the pipeline somewhere (unless I;m missing something, and there's already a Steem alternative!?)
Maybe R.A.R.E. will move across to Steem once SMTs are launched - I'm sure some Etherium-based dApps will switch due to Steem;s large, engaged community.

Nobody knows, if they move to the STEEM blockchain, that will be good news. Hopefully, the launch of SMT will make STEEM more valuable, even though now it also looks very valuable, thanks for the visionary comments.
No doubt that this will solve the problem of art theft. Now your work will definitely be 100% secured and safe cos' anything stored on Blockchain is obviously secured and safe

Theft of artist's works is very detrimental to the artist himself, hopefully, with the presence of R.A.R.E this can overcome this problem.
Artists are rare and they enable the other to be better.
They touch the hearth in a way that no other one can. so having this platform for them to grow is great.
Because the process to be an artist is hard, therefore their hard work should be well appreciated.

I'm no artist but I do have an artist/concept illustrator friend and I think the main problem for digital artists are really copyright infringement.
I've taken a look at the site and while they might have disabled the right click option to not save the images on the site, one could just easily "inspect element" or take a screenshot to steal the images.
Still a good platform for artists though to earn extra money. XD Great Hunt!

I'm not an artist myself, but my girlfriend has done amazing digital art pieces, I think she will be very interested soon.
Blockchain is definitely making life better for a lot of people if it is applied well, this is a great example.
