Prediction market is a huge thing no doubt about that. This can work like a self fulfilling prophecy :) If you gather enough people it can compound. The incentive with the point system is a great thing.

The human brain is by far the best predicter. Because we have so many variables in predicting the future we can't use any model for a good prediction. Even simple chess problems are already very difficult to predict because of the enormous amount of data. So i like the pynks idea of using the brains of all people together. The brain can not tell exactly what a variable will be, but it can very easily tell in what direction the variable will go. I am very curious how the results will be!

Not only are we using people's collective brain power with our Ai, but we are in effect using Peoples data to drive a return for Pynksters all over the world. We think that's a better model than the top 1% using People's data to drive a return for the elite only. Also, our proof of concept fund is performing very well, double digit growth in a matter of months - and the bigger the crowd the more our machine learning learns. M

I loved meeting the platform and you give us opportunities to win cryptids by making "divinations", and that's the maximum!
This is a nice project as people will get rewarded for prediction. Even now there are people who predict but they dont know about this project so by introducing this project to them will be a good thing for pynk as well for those who like or do predict #priceprediction

Power Power Investment this is wonderful initiative.
I like the idea of collaboration and working together so that everyone profits. One thing I worry about is group think and self-fulfilling prophecies, people just jumping on the bandwagon and swaying momentum based on rumors rather than fundamentals.
Overall this looks like a great idea though
Hi @jasonshick - great comment. As you may have seen from our site at https://pynk.io we use Wisdom of Crowds methodology (WoC). For this to work we need predictions made on an independent basis, otherwise the data suffers from heard mentality and skews the results. If haven't heard of WoC before - see my answer on Quora here: https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-wisdom-of-the-crowd. We're using WoC + our machine learning to drive market beating returns for our crowd. Hope you get involved with Pynk cheers M

Involving a large number of people to make predictions is a great idea. However it would be useful to ensure that everyone has a little knowledge about bitcoin and finance in general or at least ensure that they follow some trainings to avoid people benefiting from the system and predicting number that have no sense at all.

And the beta is heavily gamified with stats and figures helping Pynksters to understand how well they are doing, we are helping our crowd become better investors.
