Hello World! This is really insane invention and cool at the same time as it is a robotic tail. I don't understand the use of this tail right now but who knows it the process of go back.... :grinning:

I dont know what kind of balance problems are they addressing. I have never felt the need for a tail. I don't think anyone has.
I am amazed to see such invention and I do agree with you may be this is the process of go back as History repeats itself... :-) :grinning:
What? I mean seriously we need a tail for better movement and balance...puff....
But that's a cool experiment and Innovation. Who knows what will come out from this project?

That is cool for sure. I mean it might help people with balance problems to use a tail instead of a cane. I don't know if there would be any real-life use for it otherwise. It may come handy in studies involving how the body of humans and animals balances itself. Or may even be useful in some robotics. Or say if you wanted to answer the question as to why we lost a tail when we gained bipedal style of walking? Why was it unnecessary vs what could still having it mean?
