Gift A Green - A Greeting Card That Grows Into Edible Greens

You don't have to send a plain greeting card ever again. With Gift A Green you can send someone an awesome, edible gift that will be an experience for both the sender and the receiver.

The 'Gift A Green'-collection was developed by a Canadian business that developed the concept

around the idea of connecting people through an engaging and interactive experience. We truly believe that in a world of digital communications real-life interactions still matter. - Source

'Gift A Green' is a series of greeting cards or pouches, filled with dried coconut coir and (non-GMO) microgreen seeds. The company offers 8 different kinds of microgreens in different puches, which can be grown without having to replant them. They grow right inside the pouch.

The pouches are designed for different occasions and are mailable, so you can send them to a special someone on a special occasion.

Here's how it works:

Personally I think this is a great product. So simple, yet such a delight to give and to get.

Hi @organicgardener,

Thanks for your hunt but I can not approve it because this isn’t the type of products we feature on Steemhunt.

As per Steemhunt posting guidelines:

2. Types of Products to Post

Steemhunt generally covers unique IT or hardware products, including:

2-1. Web services
2-2. Mobile apps
2-3. API, IT solutions, bots, open sources or other types of software
2-4. Tech gadgets, hardware, IoT/connected/wearable devices
2-5. Games
2-6. Innovative Engineering/Design Products (It may cover non-tech products that have been invented based on high-level engineering/design approach to solve a major problem)

This is a pouch with soil and seeds.

If each one of us gifts 4-5 of these to our friends, then there will be a lot of change in the greenery around our homes. And its quite affordable at 10$, so we really can save there as well by not buying expensive gifts, because everyone will appreciate this. More ever, there are options to customize to add our picture or message or anything we like. And if all that is not sufficient they will donate a portion of funds to Community Crew to provide healthy meals to kids in need. I think, we all must go and at least buy 2 and gift to others.

I think this is innovative in a very simple way. The design is clean, it’s easy to use (send) and it’s very functional (we all need greens 😁). I’ll share this with my world!

Wow what a cool but simple idea this is. Saw something kind of similar once but this looks really way cooler.
