What I like about this app

• an ingenious way to help you calculate the shared expenses among your friends so that everyone knows exactly how much to pay back

• it keeps a running total so that you can pay back in one payment with reminders and email notifications

• an easy way for roommates who share household expenses

• it has a tab that shows clearly who owes the money

• there is a bill feature that shows that you have 'settled up' the amount and paid which sort of acts as a receipt for all to see

• you can always view your balances and track your spending trends so that you can maintain a good workable budget for yourself

• it allows you to create as many groups as you wish with your friends, roommates, families, or groups

• all the activities of groups are shown in one place which makes it easy to read visually

• best of all, it is FREE, available for iOS and Android platforms

The only downside is that there is no currency exchanges when you are on a trip traveling in other countries.

this is an interesting app. If it could handle crypto-money it would be better, than people could just settle the bills and don't have to chase after their friends for real money.

• There is nothing negative to say about this app

• An organize and convenient way of calculating expenses shared between friends, family or groups
• App interface is simple and easy to understand

• A good product name
• Works even on the web - now, that's a unique selling proposition
• Works real-time

• Giving out your spending habits to third party companies can be a huge risk (beware)

Thanks for sharing this! Here's what I think about this app:

Pros:

• Being Open Source means the user-base would have a say on improvements for the app through contributions. This could push the app/product to become more tailored for the user's needs.
• Splitwise removes the hassle and friction of borrowing money between people.
• Partnerships with PayPal and Venmo enables added features like being able to get reimbursements.

Cons:

• May not work on some cultures and could be offensive too, but this is all based on how the user uses the app.

I think this is great. Thanks for sharing. We will try this out when possible. Here's a quick review:

• The Pros:
  Ability to sort out who owes who via a certain tab.
  Integration of both Paypal and Venmo for added/easier payment/reimbursement options.
  Can use anytime, anywhere since it's a mobile app.
  Seamless implemention on how to split bills through the app among people.

• The Cons:
  I can't think of any downside to this product yet, since I haven't used it in the real world, it looks good on paper.

It’s quite interesting products. If it wasn’t your post, I won’t knoe about this product. Thanks for sharing. This could really be something for colleague students or those whom just join the work force and have to share rooms. It makes it very simple, easy and indisputable list. I will also look into this project by steem Hunt and see if I can be a hunter myself. Again, thanks for sharing.
