Remote teams have a tool for project management. The tool is called AsyncMatic. The tool is simple, people that work from abroad gather with their tasks and see what they have to do.
The project manager gives tasks to every team-members. It is possible to ask questions to each other. A great project management tool.

Working remotely does require good team management, moreover, the obstacles faced are timezone differences.
Usually, the communication method is also asynchronous communication, and now we have AsyncMatic, which Remote teams can use as a tool for their project management. Worth a try.
