I like the technology and the concept. Since you can program it as you want there are many applications. But I can't help but feel like it is another Firefox OS. You can't just make a piece of technology and try to make a market for it. The price is somewhat high at $349. The fully assembled version actually comes at a $799 which is quite high unless you are hardcore robotics and programming enthusiast. I've seen many AI projects for a lot cheaper.
If they could ad some easy to program templates and make things more friendly for kids and beginners I think the product will have a better chance in the market.
