I think the rules were such that overpayments are supposed to be refunded. In my audit, I found about 10 people with non-integer investments. Your intent was hard to guess. The number of shares you put in for is 7 by the rules, not the 8 listed. So I investigated your intent... something I can't do looking at the blockchain. :)
The audit was supposed to validate everyone's shares. So if I had put in 5.001 Steem up to 5.416 up to 5.999, I should still be allotted 5 shares.
There will be a lot of these issues that may come up in the future stages, so I wanted to get the first one straightened out!
It's ok! Steemstock sat dormant for a while because of some family stuff I had going on but it's coming back with a vengeance!!

Can you tell me why you sent 7.416 Steem? My audit revealed that you didn't send enough to get 8 Shares. What was the extra 0.416 for?

I just sent as much STEEM as I had at the time. Idk why I have 8 Shares :v
Figured the extra ~0.4 would just be a donation or something, idk.
