I find myself checking steemit more than any other social platform that I am on. I have had a website since 2011 but since you don't have to deal with ranking in google, this is so much more rewarding. Another big reason is because of the instant interaction you can get when you post content. I work a full-time and part-time job so I am forced not to be on here much. Maybe steemit someday can eventually have me down to one job!

Good point, I agree with you. Steemit has made me forget about facebook , twitter and linkedin ..at least reduced my time there drastically. Very interesting and rewarding too because at least you know tat you are gaining something for your retirement (SP) isnt it?
