As Dan pointed out when someone here tried to give an example for creating a poll, this form of poll simply means, liondani wins either way people vote. How about instead, people just upvote the original post if they like "recent", or simply post which they prefer as a reply?
I prefer "new" ... here are my other preferences..."trending, new, active, top.." I like the way you did your post title because it's more direct about changes...

"new posts" and "recent" both sound fine to me, "created" sounds strange.
Another option is "by date"
That's still vague when "date" could mean last comment, last vote, etc.
We will be fixing the labels to make them more human friendly this week. I agree 'created' isn't descriptive.
