I love and hate mandolins! Usually once per year I cut my finger with the mandolin! But they do make such beautifully thin slices of veggies. Do you have the French style mandolin or the Japanese style?

I think it's French Mandoline with V-shaped blade. I always try to be careful when using mandolin. I can faint when I see blood :-D
