#introduceyourself tag spam is still high. Before you hit the up-vote check the tags on the post. Please, don't reward those intentionally misusing tags.
Two of the top four trending posts are not introductions! A quick look at their posts show they frequently use the tag.
While rare... spamming tags can get you added to @cheetah's blacklist. 'Spamming tags' is the intentional repeated misuse of an irrelevant tag.
The #introduceyourself is to be used once, maybe twice, to tell the community about yourself.
i saw a couple today and thought of upvote but check and saw they posted multiple times for the tag . then i decided not to upvote
people always trying to cheat the system, Great post to bring this to light!
Hi! I am building a bot to automatically remind people if they misuse this tag and intelligently flag them if they continue misusing it. Good post!
Also, how rarely do i haev to post to stop being reported?
Never use the
introduceyourself
tag again. It's to be used once or twice per user and that is it.Is this a written rule and if so, where is it written down?
I really would not mind if you would post 1-3 times a day, but man my feed is full of only your posts. I really mean no harm, but please do stop spamming like this and obviously no introduceyourself tag! Cheers and hope to see some cool memes
@goodbot was doing that for a while. Not sure why they stopped other than the fact it didn't really discourage users much. I'm not a fan of using bots for automated flagging. My thoughts were along the lines of pulling the data on those that abuse it the most and working top down. If users don't stop I will add them to @cheetah from spamming tags. Especially when accounts are automatically up-voting those tags.
Just my thoughts on it. :)
I will read more on that! thanks
Good point, Iagree with you however many people make such mistake and this should be advised not to do it
@gultyparties is trying an approach here similar to one I had planned sometime after @spaminator was running smoothly.

I'm hoping that he is successful.
I agree, hope he succeeds too.
In addition to my last comment, feel free to join the conversation in my new post about future of steem...it will motivate you more about steem . More success to you.
Is this a written rule that I can read somewhere?
