A reflection of the mind

Hello to all my friends from the Steemit community, today I am writing about the fantastic genre as an exclusive author tool where it is distinguished by the presence of elements that do not correspond to reality such as we know her in our world or events of the day day.

In this sense, fiction is an artistic genre that does not involve the possibility of any event happening but everything has to have a meaning, otherwise it would be a poorly crafted work.

Now one of the fundamental challenges of every author of fiction is to offer a work that presents a conscious and engaging reality that allows the reader to forget his own life and move to the world of history while walking the pages of the book .

It should be noted that each story presents an imaginary option, which must have a structure and a coherence where the events that occur there are believers.

In other words, a novel that narrates events that have never taken place in reality, from this same point of view, a futuristic story where beings from another planet appear, and characters similar to animals, as they are counting supernatural situations like angels and demons.

Finally I can say that within the fiction is also several literary genres such as fantasy that includes fairy, horror, science fiction works, as well as novels of chivalry and heroic fantasies, which come from the imaginary literary writer who shows us a reflection of the mind by letting the imagination fly.

Leave me your comment about it, and tell me about the texts you have read about this fun genre.

Sort:

I lean more towards fantasy, but read quite a few different genres. World building is essential in fiction regardless of which genre it's in. Great examples of an author building a world Song of Fire and Ice series (Game of Thrones for those that don't read LOL) Harry Potter, Sword of Truth series. Each one of these the author has built an amazing world that allows you to build that picture in your mind.

You were featured in week 60 of @pifc's Pay It Forward Curation Contest by @chekohler. @pifc is a Pay It Forward Community which believes in by helping others grow we build a stronger community. We run this contest each week, it is open to everyone. It's a great way to show off people you find that might need some more exposure and meet new people. Plus win some SBI!!

I personally preffer non-fiction but I can appreciate some good fiction writing if the world building is done really well, in fact it really is a marvel to see someone build a world from nothing but their imagination.

FYI I've also nominated your post for my @pifc post of the week. You can find my nomination here. If you would like, you can join us each week, find cool new authors and get rewards in the process.

I like fiction... Non-fiction doesn't interest me that much, as I already have real life for that! 😁
