If you haven't realized it yet, Cryptocurrencies are being mass adopted by banks and government. In a couple years from now, you will probably see crypto more often and people acknowledging the use of it. What Steemit has done since the beginning of the beta opening this summer has only proven that it is desired and can be a successful platform with a worldwide user base which is on par with any successful social platforms on the internet. But also that this type of tech is doable and can be implemented thanks to blockchains and crypto currencies and can be improved even better.

I've been with you since the beginning and had both my high hopes and skepticism towards this new platform. I can say that Steemit has always delivered what it intended to do with this part of the community. At first, I was only going to test this website out for a couple of months and the first months were very addictive and fun. Many new writers, bloggers, artists and comedians from around the world gathered in a single place on the net to provide and share knowledge and experiences, which would have been impossible to me to find out and learn about, found their place here and it was awesome and amazing.

I believe that in a couple of years from now Steemit will be a great place to hang and socialize as it is definitely on par with Reddit.com or Facebook when cryptocurrencies are used more commonly.

Why do I think that?

Well for starters BIG BANKS and GOVERNMENTS around the world wants to create their own blockchains and digital currencies and are developing their own tech, which will probably take off in the year 2018 or late 2017. This will provide a mass adoption of crypto, digital currencies to the masses as the average joe doesn't have to be knowledgeable in technology to get their digital currencies. You will be able to buy or get cryptocurrencies easily with from your own banks or trade from exchanges once that market is open to trade with cryptocurrencies.

So what does it mean?

It means that a lot of changes are coming for real this time as the old world is now trying to reform and get on the bandwagon of technology revolution. The World is changing and the way we interact, share, connect and experiences will also change to the next level thanks to blockchains and cryptocurrencies.

I'll be looking forward for another year with Steemit as I believe in it!
