Writing a Good Post -- Revealing the Secrets

Okay so I have gathered some techniques and tips for writing a good blog post, I hope this will really be helpful for you in your future.
So lets get started with it.

Choosing the Right Title

First of all and the most important step is to have a good title for your post. A good title is not a label, but an entice.
Title of your post actually convince the readers to click on your post and read more about it.

Posts with good contents sometimes do not grab the attention of the readers because of the poor title of the post. So keep this thing in mind, that having a good title may invite the visitors to knock at your door. Post titles are like the *doors to your house. *

Display Picture or Title Picture

This next thing you need to have is a title picture or a display picture, which is relating to your post and it's contents.

For Steemit post, you need to have a picture which fits in the display of your post, like you can see mine below.

I actually use picture having resolution of 4167 x 2501.

Width: 4167 Pixels
Hieght: 2501 Pixels

If you do not have picture with the same resolution you can set one of your own using your windows Paint program.

Open your picture in Paint program, go to Resize, check Pixels box, uncheck Maintain Aspect Ratio.
Feed Horizontal tab with 4167, Vertical tab with 2501 and then save your picture.

Length of your Post

Your post should have at least *400-500 words. Be precise and clear about what you are writing. Because sometimes prolonged posts get the readers bored, as I feel the same :D

Number of Photos

Adding four to five pictures to your posts in between your content makes it more attractive for the readers.

Try to put pictures with the same size (Preferably not the size of your title picture). Feed pictures that actually relates to your content, because irrelevant pictures may make your users give a shut call to your post without leaving an Upvote or a comment.

Do not forget to mention the source of your picture from where you had your picture taken (as it violates copy rights plus they need some appreciation for that). You can link them in your text.

If you do not know how to link, read my post here

Diverse Formatting and Styling your Text

Styling and formatting your text using markdown makes it more attractive for the readers. Try to use headers in different sizes like larger headers, medium ones and the small ones.

Follow Up

Last but not the least, try to communicate with the readers who comment on your posts.

This gives you a good chance to befriend them by replying to them. As they are the ones who take the time to read and comment your post, so you should be grateful enough to say thanks and reply them. This will let them feel better and also will try to be with you and support you in future.

Thanks
