Good day. I'm also a newbie and fully understand where are you coming from. My mom is also a teacher and I've seen with my own eyes how difficult for it to be one. I've signed up here around aug 2017 when steem and steem dollar is only around $0.95 and I didn't take it so seriously. At first my intention is for me to earn steem/sbd and eventually exchange it with some good cash but later on I just realized that if my motivation to stay here is just for money, then I won't last. Same with my workplace where newbies earned way more than I do whose been part of the company for way more than 2 years but my motivation for staying is the happiness that I'm getting staying with the company though they are not perfect. Same here with Steemit I'm happy everytime I share photos, write article, (although I guess my grammar is not that good) sharing anything that comes into my mind. Give it a try, and don't use money as you motivation and I'll tell you that once you're happy, you posts will be too and money will follow :)

Thank you. I really love it here since I so love writing. But there are still many things which I don't know about this platform. All I know is to post my thoughts, upvote, comment and resteem other posts. There are still many things which I don't understand here. Maybe all I need is someone who could at least guide me in my @steemit journey..😊
