Haha, great humor - love the images used.

I think the sense of fear is more about not understanding the hard fork and the new implementations. The unknown has been known to bring lots of anxiety in humans. :P

I'm looking forward to the changes!

    Yes that is true. Another fear was that this would be like the last hardfork.

      I was on hiatus during HF18, so I'm not sure what you're referencing exactly.

        It was when the whole reward pool reset and had to build up again. All posts made under $100 no matter who voted on it. I made $0.67. The posts during this time were really low in value and hardly anyone posted or voted. Many people left steam till the pool increased again.

          Oh wow, that would have been a terrible experience. I can see why many would be fearful.
