Also regarding "please, don't consider Steemit to be a bottomless money well, don't flood the platform with useless posts", the embedded incentive mechanisms will take care of both spam and useless posts. Meaning that if curators do their job properly, they can flag all the spam. Useless posts that get no rewards will also tank and thus -in the long run- it will not be a behavior that is rewarded...
