Alla, For my first couple of posts I used photobucket to host my pics. BUT, then I went into the HTML or Editor mode and there is "Insert images by dragging & dropping, pasting from the clipboard, or by selecting them." So now I upload direct from my computer. I hope I am doing this correctly. Let me know if not. It seems to be working. BUT, then I can't go back into where I have options to change my font (bold, large heading, etc). Great info. Keep the videos coming.
Any tutorials that help new users is good. Steemit can be a bit daunting at first. Thanks for the video. Will bookmark it for later when I get these questions. No sense re-inventing the wheel when you did a fantastic job here. THANKS!

Very useful post @Alla. I put my photos and my posts in separate folders on my laptop and the photos I save as .jpg files. When I want to put a photo in a text I use the p and center tags of HTML. Steemit then adds an https:// adress to it. Works like a charm.
Yayyy I was really looking forward to the third installment of your Steemit video series. Very useful and easy to follow process for uploading photos! I have usually used imgsafe.org to upload my photos on Steemit - especially my profile pic - but I will definitely look into postimage.io as well - thanks for the tip!
Definitely, having more photos in a post not only makes the experience more personal for the reader but as well makes the post even more readable. Keep up the fantastic work and I'll keep an eye out for Episode 4!

it's easy just go to you Instagram, FB or Twitter. Just right click on a picture and "copy image address" then go back to Steemit and click on settings and paste it profile image...hope this helps!
Right now you can actually just copy and paste an image straight into the text editor. There is no need to host it elsewhere any more (but sometimes I do anyway just so that I have a third party link not associated with Steemit).

I just drag my photos onto the post window and it automatically uploads to Steemit. Is that not the preferred way?
