* % of Total is the percentage of the top 10,000 Steemians based on the Estimated Value according to Steemwhales.com. These amounts may be slightly different on Steemit.com, Steemd.com, Steemdb.com, or Steemnow.com. Please keep this in mind as you read the rest of the statistics.
This table shows three Steemians have value of 46.47% or almost half of the other 9,997 combined!

Imagine the kind of lifestyle you'll get to enjoy if you owned any of them.
What type of home will you live in?
Which car(s) will you drive?
What fun activities will you do?
Which places will you visit with your loved ones or by yourself?
Who or which organizations will you help out financially?
I don't know about you, I'm picturing being at the following tropical beach drinking fresh coconut water while thinking what my Steemit account will be worth by this time next year when the STEEM price is 10 or more times higher.
If you fantasized like I did, it was a lot of fun, right?
If you didn't because you can't imagine possessing that much financial wealth, I understand.
The great news is, we need only a fraction of the current estimated value of even the third ranked Bittress to enjoy an incredibly fulfilling lifestyle.
No matter how much your Steemit's account is worth right now, you can increase it by dozens to hundreds of times over the next few years by treating Steemit as a serious money-making opportunity and invest the time and effort into it.
Let's get back to the statistics.
As you're aware, @steemit belongs to Steemit, Inc, the company running Steemit.com and funds ongoing development on the platform, so it's natural for it to have the highest value. @poloniex (poloniex.com) and @bittrex (bittrex.com) are cryptocurrency exchanges.
Excluding these accounts and those of the Steemit and STEEM founders, Ned Scott (@ned) and Dan Larimer (@dan), you can see 51.7% (out of the top 10,000 Steemians) have value only up to $1,000.
If yours is more than that, I applaud you!
You can increase your value by many times within the next 12 months by using Steemit.com, Steemit.chat, Busy.org, and other related sites, at least several times per week. (I'll be doing so starting in September.)

Wow! The top 20 accounts have more than 62% of the Steem Power on August 23, 2017.
Imagine how much money you'll make if each of them vote for you at 100% once daily.
You can find out later in this blog. Right now, let's talk about the 192 accounts having no Steem Power at all.
Even with no Steem Power, they collectively have estimated account value of $2,326,099, which is an average of 12,115 each. I haven't had time to find out the reason, so I'm guessing it's because they have been around since the beginning of Steemit and received or purchased lots of STEEM when the price was less than 50 cents.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the rankings...

If you're on the list, congratulations!
If not, you can acquire more followers by creating valuable content about the topics you know a lot and/or passionate about.
My fellow Steemian, if you found these statistics useful, please upvote, reply and also resteem my post.
In case you don't know, besides earning curating rewards (if you have a large amount of Steem Power and upvoted my post before another person with more Steem Power does), resteeming my blog is one of the ways you can get more followers without having to produce your own content (which can take a lot of time and effort).
I intend to publish these statistics weekly, so if you haven't already followed me, please do so. This way, you can see my blogs on your home page.
If you haven't seen my last blog titled...
... you can read it here.
Most people who saw Jerry's statistics (which are presented in a fun infographic) were amazed at the enormous amount of useful info and enjoyed them a lot. You probably will as well, so check out that blog after upvoting, commenting, or resteeming this post. :=)
In my next blog, you'll learn the amazing results and statistics for one of the most successful Steemians...
I was hoping to finish this blog and several other ones by yesterday. Unfortunately, creating detailed statistics like the infographic for Jerry Banfield took a lot more time than I had. If you're my follower who's eager to see it, thanks for your patience.
Until we "meet" on Monday, enjoy your strongend! ("weekend" is negative so I avoid using it whenever I can.)
Cheers,
Larry Lee
Hey Larry, I like numbers. I follow you because you make my work on steemit easier. Normally, I search for those numbers myself. Thanks a lot for it. I believe statistics are important to learn from.
If you are interested in nature conservation check account of our NGO @kedjom-keku. You could also use our voting bot @treeplanter and help us to restore Abongphen Highland Forest in Cameroon and be paid for it.
Have a nice day.
Hey Martin, thanks for your feedback!
Glad you find the numbers useful.
Your voting bot is cool, which I will learn to use to help the AHF.
Have a nice day.
Congratulations @amazingstats! You have completed some achievement on Steemit and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :
