This post is regarding free airdrop that has been going on since last month wherein Steem users can claim anywhere from $5 to $160 worth of Byteballs in their Byteball wallet and i have claimed mine already and its relatively easy to claim aswell...

How to claim your free Airdrop
1 ) Download Bytewallet using this link or by clicking the image below and click download the wallet and then install.

2 ) Create your new wallet and make sure to its a single address wallet.
3 ) Go to Chat --> Bot Store --> And click on Steem Attestation Bot
4 ) Click open chat and type your Steemit Username
5 ) Next the Steemit Attestation bot will ask which address you like to attest. Copy & Paste your Wallet Address as shown below. You can see your wallet address in your wallet Information tab in 'advanced' :)
6 ) Then the attestation process will start and you have to log in using your Steemit posting/owner key to authorize & prove that the steemit account name is yours.
7 ) Tada Thats ALL peeps... You will get a message stating that ...Your steemit username is attested and you will receive a welcome bonus based on your reputation .... :) Only 50% of the total you will get as the bonus the rest will be held i smart contract for 1 year...

You may choose to hold your Byteball in your wallet or sell it for Bitcoin and convert to Steem in Bittrex

Can the wallet be backed up?
Yes you may go to Settings --> Backups --> Backup Wallet Seed and then you can note down the seed :)

Isn't this a bit late for the how to byteball-STEEM post?
Well yeah, been few weeks already since partnership but i came to know about it couple of days ago and when i shared it to my friends , they were not aware of it either. There are many who still dont know about it and i feel the steps above with the screenshots will help them claim the aridrop much easier than i did .. Glad to connect man..

This is one of the blogs that I have trying to airdrop. but a lot of things with which I do not know, various boot is still a mystery. Moreover, there are smart wallet, smart wallet for what it is? When can I claim?.. It seems to me the user Byteball should be patient until everything is clear.
