I really dislike the vote for vote or follow for follow mentality. Even if someone makes a good post, it doesnt mean I want all their posts in my feed. Its not some competition to get ahead in life, its not the door to loads of money or popularity. I wish people would just chill and upvote content they like and follow only content they want in their feed. I certainly hope people do the same for me, only follow me of you want some music and art popping up in your feed. Otherwise, please dont follow me.

Humans need a diverse range of things to be interested in, if they only want to follow people or things they like or agree with, that's how cults get started.....If someone follows me then it is my courtesy to follow back, so long as they are not posting every 5 minutes it wont disrupt my feed it may in fact enrich it and offer content or ideas I may be unaware of or something I want to lean, or listen to, or watch. If my feed is limited only to a select few who I know I like already why is this good. Am I not open to new ideas or concepts, languages, opinions. I would pity me.
Its not like I dont want to see what people put up, but to have it all in my feed? I only have so much attention and time to give you know! :P
that's the point. I don´t wand to have a feed that looks the same as the "new" section.
