An article that I read on here a few days ago showed how a group of crowdfunders bought a huge piece of property in New Zealand and made it into a national park. How absolutely cool is that? I was wondering if we could all do the same. What if there was a place that passionate steemit users could go to to get together, actually face to face. And what if that place was actually paid for and owned by the Steemit community?
My blood is pulsing in my veins just thinking about it. There are so many cool and brilliant and talented people here. How absolutely amazing would it be if we just got together and made this happen.
Maybe a private island somewhere or a resort for the steemit crowd up in the mountains? Perhaps we could have sections with equipment for artists in one area, quiet zones for writers, amazing gaming rooms with the latest tech, labs for those of us that like to invent?
The possibilities are endless. What do you all think?
I would love to get into something like that, recently there was a small town for sale here in Queensland Australia For Sale and it sold for less than AU$1.8 million.
I think this is completely doable. We just need to get enough people behind it.
