It's weird because I feel like this exposes itself when re-esteeming other peoples posts makes no difference in its viewership. Maybe if allowing outside eyes had some value to the content this would change. But trying to self sustain within a platform seems to limit the potential.

One thing I am sure of is that from what history shows sites based on creators content has an Achilles heel. Which is that creative content will always take a back seat to the discussion of that actual site itself. Which anyone can do by googling info and scraping tidbits from others. I mean why else would one the top tags here be the sites name?

I mean we can all blame summer as being one the factors of a drop off but its bad when I go in the trending section and still see the same post titles from like last week.
