Some people have the need of constantly thinking on terms of zero sum. Take for example the "Steemit vs. BitShares" post.
In reality Steemit has emerged from Bitshares, therefore in the long run both projects will benefit from each other. The Steemit success will help to grow awareness on Bitshares and by the way the Bitshares trading platform is the most logical way to capitalize some earned Steem.
So I tend to view both communities as somehow on the same boat. If Steemit fails, then it will hit BitShares, but if Steemit suceeds it will also benefit BitShares.
would be interested to learn more in depth about this.
great introduction, but needs expanding into detail to be a full, successful article (or series) in its own...
Bitshares is primed for the same moonshot Steemit just pulled off. Bitshares is to global finance as Steemit is to social media. You heard it here first. :)
I've been thinking about this relationship myself the past few days. Currently, I feel as though bitshares is really undervalued considering how far steemit has made it being the 3rd largest marketcap.
I agree. I think the STEEM/BTS market will tend to find some sort of equilibrium in the near term, therofore the Steem price increase should lead to a BTS price increase.
