I hadn't thought about those first couple sentences of a post being so important. Thanks for that idea. I went and changed the first sentence of my last post after I read that.

I like that Idea too. And I am closing in on my first 2 months also. I have 96 followers but none seem to be reading my blogs. A more seasoned Steemian said that it is better to have 100 engaged followers than 1000 that do nothing. That is true.
How many people do you follw?
I find that going above 25 becomes too distracting and I have to drop some to maintain that number.

Around 40. But it is a lif list. I do unfollow people when their posts doesn’t interest me, this decision is spread out iver several posts.
