I'm no time traveler nor a clairvoyant.. but personally i feel that Steem is still undervalued for the things it is capable.
- instant transaction (3 second block time)
- zero fee transaction
- 12 trxn/sec currently (as much as Ethereum) but only 0.36% of network bandwidth used, as opposed to Ethereum near 100%
- customisable and human memorable wallet address. (@awesomianist for steem rather than "0x8571eB2f58b82661e91982834697424d4337999B" for Ethereum)
- social media element built on top that the potential as gateway crypto for first timers is there.. (bitcoin wont be the first crypto people will know of, simply because how steem is designed to optimize social interaction)
And so many other things.. I personally feel the magic number is 1,000,000 user signup. Things will change when we hit there.. seeing the exponential growth, i think 1 mil by 2018 is a certainty.
