Well around the time steemit was down there was a bitcoin surge after news of their next hard fork.
Steem has dropped all the way down to $1.06 according to Coin Market Cap.
Will it drop below $1?
Will it rebound?
As I stated in my last post I'm powering down. Am I too late to get out if it doesn't recover?

By the time you do that, Steem will most likely have recovered? Plus, to get back in wont cost you the same, it will cost you more. It isnt actually Steem that determines your SP but mVests and the same amount are more expensive than they were a year ago.
Besides, almost all altcoins were down the last few days.
I'm just converting it back into steem, it's going to take months the convert it back down into steem, I don't have to get rid of it, I just don't see the use in keeping it simply for upvote power when I don't plan on being as engaged on steemit.

Unfortunately, STEEM does not have total max supply of coins. Big letdown there.
